(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said on Monday that ground for shaping the new world management was well-prepared during the 16th Non-Aligned Movement Summit of Leaders.He said in his address to the third national festival themed "Science to Action" that Tehran displayed a remarkable performance in the current of NAM Summit of Leaders.The task of achieving the NAM goals is now being shouldered by a country which is committed to pledges to the Non-Aligned Movement and has no affiliation to any power, he said.He said that presence of some 7,000 guests at the international event registered a world record for NAM.In the private meetings with NAM Leaders, they were renouncing self-imposed dictates of the bullying powers, Rahimi said.""NAM member statets believe that the Islamic Republic of Iran heralds their aspirations.""US had urged governments of the NAM member states not to attend the Summit, but, presence of representatives from 120 countries with unprecedented turnout indicated that the Leaders do not listen to the bullying government of the United States.The enemies know that Iran does not seek access to nuclear weapons but they are afraid of Iran making breakout in science and technology, he said.If these pressures had been exerted on other countries, they would have collapsed by this time; he said adding that the Iranian nation with reliance on Almighty God and under wise leadership and perseverance of the martyrs successfully thwarted all plots masterminded by the enemies. /129
